Kia Ora Ron, I read your book after a recommendation from a friend. We were discussing home and where we are from and your name came up. I thoroughly enjoyed the book as it touched on a lot of similar experiences I had as a youngster and still continue today, (especially when I go to a new mining camp in WA). My grand parents are John and Alice Williams from Mitimiti, I always loved going home every chance I got to see nana and grandad, Mitimiti is so magical. Reading your book has stirred a fire in me to start researching more about home so I can pass on to my kids, I didn't do enough listening when I was younger haha. Kia ora Ron, Your book transcends time and space to lead the reader on a journey through your life and how it all lead to where you are now. Such a difficult journey to make in the protection of your son where you now have realised and established your full potential and rightfully earned the title Matakite. Once I started reading your book I couldn't stop. I have read all of the books in your recommendations and I have to say yours was the one that has inspired me to continue my journey. I can't wait for your next book and I highly recommend "Walking with Chiefs" to anyone who is too scared to make the next step towards enlightenment. loved the book, answered/confirmed alot of questions I had about spirituality. Eye opening read, highly recommend this book. Can't wait for another book in the future 👍
